Deep Listening: a key skill for managing and leading in any situation

Leadership Workshop:

Using Otto Scharma’s (Leading from the Emerging Future) unfolding of the four levels of listening, we explore in depth our own experiences in developing a more sophisticated understanding of listening and leading. We understand that mostly we have barely scratched the surface in our commitment to listening. The workshop explores listening as downloading, factual listening, empathetic listening and generative listening.

In this highly interactive workshop, you will learn.

  • How our experience creates significant barriers to our listening and what we can do about it.

  • The importance of listening for facts that contradict our own opinions.

  • How to move to empathetic listening.

  • How generative listening can change the listener and create break through performance.
