How to Have a Successful Solicitation Meeting

Asking for money isn't for everyone and not every meeting in which you ask for money does or should proceed in the same way. While you don't want to script your ask -- it will feel too stilted -- follow these steps for a basic outline of a successful solicitation meeting.
