Over 20 years of experience in education has led Farah Marklevits to appreciate the power of building from individuals’ strengths, experiences, and viewpoints. In teaching and tutoring reading and writing, Farah has seen firsthand how stories expand our knowledge and connect us more deeply with others, inspiring wonder, purpose, creativity, and action.

Farah’s excited to use her skills and talents to connect nonprofits with resources that put their missions into action. She’s interested in education, fine arts, local food, and other programs that make communities resilient, livable, restorative places for all. You can find Farah volunteering with the Davenport Central High School Marching Band, shopping at the QC Farmers Market, supporting Midwest Writing Center events, or at her Davenport home, puttering about in garden beds and enjoying time with her family.
